Textbook example of an unissued Volkssturm armband, 1 piece screenprint construction, 2 official ink markings on the back. The armband was worn on the upper right sleeve of the outer garment. Such identification was required by the covenants of the Geneva convention to identify persons in civilian clothing as legal armed fighters.
