*Unlike British or US forces where personal cameras were often restricted or less common among enlisted men, many German soldiers were conscripted from civilian life and already owned or were familiar with high-quality German-made cameras, such as this Pre WW2 Ica folding camera (later Zeiss Ikon "Icarette), it worked with a 120 roll film with a frame size 6 x 6 CM. *
This item:
1930' s Fita Nurnberg folding camera for the 129 film size (4,8 x 8 CM). It has a tripod socket on bottom section for "landscape" orientation. D.R.P (Deutsches Reichspatent) and D.R.G.M (Deutsches Reich Gebrauchs Muster) marked. Very good condition. It has it's usual wear for it's age, it folds easily in and out. A pretty nice display item
