The Wehrmacht tropical webbing belt was a piece of military equipment made of durable canvas or cotton webbing, designed specifically for German soldiers in hot climates such as North Africa (the Deutsche Afrika Korps or DAK). It was made from woven cotton or canvas webbing, which was more durable and better suited to tropical conditions than the standard leather belts which could degrade in heat and moisture. The belts were typically tan or field-grey/green in color. It was designed to support the soldier's equipment (field gear), often used with suspenders.

Original period item.The catch looks very nice. Unfortunately it is missing the tongue, therefore it's priced accordingly, it would still look pretty on a mannequin though. Length is 90 CM.
