A "Feldbänderschloss für Führer – Deutsche Reichsbahn" (Field Belt Buckle for Leaders – German Reichsbahn) is a specific belt buckle worn by high-ranking officials (leaders) of the German Reichsbahn during the Nazi era in Germany. It was part of the service uniform for senior employees and officers of the German Reichsbahn and its associated railway security forces. Unlike the simpler belt buckles for enlisted men and non-commissioned officers, which often displayed the national emblem (eagle with swastika), the Feldbänderschloss für Führer was more elegantly designed and was worn with a field belt (a brocade belt). These buckles were typically made of aluminum and silver-plated. Manufacturer: Known manufacturers included companies such as Assmann or OLC (Overhoff & Cie), with corresponding markings such as "A - DRGM" or "SS RZM 36/43 OLC" on the reverse. After Hitler's rise to power in 1933, the national railway system was restructured and given new uniforms and insignia that met the military and ideological requirements of the regime.
