The SA Sports Badge in Bronze (SA-Sportabzeichen or later SA-Wehrabzeichen) was a decoration of the Nazi Party, instituted by SA Chief of Staff Ernst Röhm on November 28, 1933. The badge was awarded to eligible SA and SS personnel, and later to all able-bodied German males aged 16 and up, who successfully met specific physical fitness, military defense, and field exercise criteria. The program was divided into three sections: gymnastics, defensive sports, and agricultural service.
