A brass Prussian WW1 belt and buckle was the standard issue belt system for Prussian enlisted men and NCOs in the German Army, featuring a distinctive brass buckle with the motto "Gott Mit Uns" (God With Us) and the Prussian crown, worn with a leather belt, often brown or later dyed black, used to carry equipment like ammo pouches. Early war examples used solid brass, later shifting to steel or zinc for material conservation, but the iconic design remained consistent.
