The Wiederholungsspange 1939 for the Iron Cross 2nd Class 1914 is a German repeat clasp from the Second World War, a small metal badge with the eagle and swastika emblem and the date '1939', awarded to soldiers who had already received the original Iron Cross 2nd Class from the First World War (1914) and earned it again in the Second World War, attached to the ribbon of the original cross. It showed that the wearer had earned the decoration again, which elevated the status of a World War I veteran who proved himself once more in World War II.
