Efka cigarette papers (specifically Efka-Pyramiden) were a popular brand of German rolling papers produced in the 1930s and 1940s, widely issued to or used by German Wehrmacht soldiers during World War II. They are commonly found in green or red packaging, sometimes featuring camel or pyramid imagery, and are frequently used in reenactments and collections. These were a standard, popular brand during the 1930s-40s, often used by German troops. Packages often featured text like "Feinste Gummierung" (finest gum) and "Efka-Pyramiden Allerfeinstes Zigarettenpapier". Some versions displayed camels in the desert, while others came in simple green or red, white, and black branding.
Contents: A standard pack contained 50 individual, white rolling papers. In March 1943, British intelligence reproduced these packets to distribute anti-Nazi propaganda to German soldiers, replacing the papers with tips on how to feign illness to avoid duty.

About 15 years ago, these boxes came onto the market in large quantities; you regularly saw them lying on tables at fairs. But as is the case with everything, stocks have largely dried up. In the trade, a single pack easily costs 10 euros apiece. This sealed box of 100 pieces is not unique in itself, but I have never come across one with a franked field post label. The stamp is still uncancelled. Normally, I might have opened the box to sell the contents individually, which would eventually bring in around 750 euros. However, in this case, it is better to just leave it as it is. It is up to you what to do with it!
