NSDAP Membership badge

The NSDAP Membership Badge (Parteiabzeichen) was the official insignia for members of the National Socialist German Workers' Party. It was worn on the left breast of both civilian clothing and uniforms. Featuring the iconic red enamel ring, white circle, and swastika, it was the most recognizable symbol of party affiliation and was worn with great pride by members as a sign of their loyalty.

A very attractive NSDAP Member’s Badge in goodcondition. This piece was sourced from an old collection in the United States and remains in untouched, original state. The enamel is in excellent condition. Crucial for collectors, it is completely free of any chips, cracks, or "spidering." The red translucent enamel still shows the beautiful pebbled pattern underneath. The badge features its original, functional pin and catch. The reverse shows some light, honest oxidation and patina, which is a great sign of age and authenticity. The reverse is clearly stamped with RZM 31, identifying the manufacturer as Karl Griesbach from Solingen. It also bears the "Ges. Gesch." (Gesetzlich Geschützt) patent mark. A textbook Solingen-made badge. It has a great "been there" look without any damage to the fragile enamel.
