WWII German RAD Issued Wooden Shoe Brush - Ges. Gesch. Marked. A wonderful, 100% original World War II German Third Reich military/paramilitary issue personal kit shoe brush (Schuhbürste). This field-used personal care item was standard issue for personnel within the RAD (Reichsarbeitsdienst) and later the Wehrmacht to maintain their leather combat boots. The wooden top features a prominent, official factory-stamped RAD ownership marking. Personal barracks and field gear utensils crafted from wood are incredibly difficult to find intact today, as most were utilized and worn out post-war, making this a choice personal effects accessory for high-end gear layouts.

The Wooden Body & Markings: The solid wooden top grip is in great, solid condition with a beautiful natural dark field patina. The upper face features a clear, deep and genuine hot-stamped "R.A.D." organizational property mark. Patent Stamp: The side of the wooden frame is crisply stamped with the textbook period patent registration marking: "Ges. Gesch." (Gesetzlich Geschützt). The Bristles: The original bristles—constructed from high-quality, coarse period animal hair (textbook pig or horsehair)—are fully intact and firmly anchored into the wooden base. They show honest signs of period use and still retain excellent structural tightness. Overall State: A very fine, untouched personal kit survivor. It displays fantastic "been there" historical character, perfectly suited to fill an original breadbag (Brotbeutel) or barracks display.
