An outstanding, comprehensive Third Reich period Civil Service Faithful Service Medal Second Class (Treudienst-Ehrenzeichen 2. Stufe für 25 Jahre), instituted on January 30, 1938, to reward civilians and public service officials for 25 years of loyal service. This highly desirable, lightly worn ensemble remains in excellent, untouched condition and is uniquely accompanied by its matching ribbon bar with miniature and its original maker-labeled presentation case. The Medal & Ribbon: The award is constructed as a silvered cross pattée with pebbled arms, featuring a pristine, black-enameled swastika centrally mounted on the obverse. The reverse features the deeply struck, crisp inscription "Für treue Dienste" ("For Faithful Service"). It hangs from its original, vibrant cornflower-blue silk ribbon, which retains its horizontal suspension pinback assembly. The silvering displays a beautiful, untouched age patina. The Ribbon Bar (Bandspange): Included is the matching single-place field ribbon bar wrapped in original cornflower-blue ribbon. Pinned securely to the center is a spectacular, detailed silver cross miniature representing the 25-year grade. The reverse retains its fully functional attachment pin and clasp assembly.
The Maker-Labeled Case: The set is housed in its original red faux-leather presentation case, displaying the silver-embossed numeral "25" inside a cogwheel on the lid. The interior features a deep red velvet/felt medal bed. Crucially, the inside of the lid retains its crisp, fully intact original paper manufacturer sticker: "Wächtler & Lange, Mitweida i. Sa.", providing ironclad provenance to this prestigious Saxon maker.
