is an original WWII German Wehrmacht Heer (Army) mess hall or canteen spoon made of durable stainless steel. The handle features a very crisp stamped national eagle (Hoheitsadler) and is clearly maker marked on the reverse with the code FBCM 42, indicating production by Fr. Burberg & Co. A.G. Mettmann in 1942, alongside the Rostfrei stamp. The spoon is in a wonderful, clean condition with minor signs of period use and no structural damage or pitting. A great, affordable personal gear item to complete a Wehrmacht soldier's pocket litter or mess kit display.
