is an original early WWII German Luftwaffe mess hall spoon made of lightweight aluminum. The handle features a very crisp stamped Luftwaffe national eagle in flight on the front. The reverse is clearly maker marked with the initials W.J.S. 39 indicating production by Wagner & Söhne Suhl in 1939 alongside the desirable FL.U.V. property stamp for Flieger-Unterkunfts-Verwaltung. The spoon is in a wonderful clean condition with minor signs of kazerne use and no structural damage or bending. A highly collectible piece of Luftwaffe personal gear perfect for a mess hall or airfield equipment display.
