is a highly rare WWI German Imperial Prussian medical pouch (Sanitätstasche) for a Krankenträger (litter bearer). The brown leather pouch is clearly maker marked Adolph Schwartz & Co Berlin N39 with the production year 1915. The lid and straps feature crisp factory stamped letters K for Krankenträger alongside L (Links/Left) and R (Rechts/Right) for proper hip positioning with a heavy rectangular attachment hook on the reverse. The interior lid retains its original complete and perfectly legible paper content list (Inhaltsverzeichnis). The pouch is in a beautiful combat-used condition with supple leather and tight stitching throughout with only the small left side attachment strap missing. A fantastic museum-grade investment piece with incredible character for a premium WWI medical display.
