Rare Pre-War Wehrmacht Sanitäter Aluminum Cup (1/4 L)This is a scarce and highly desirable example of a pre-WWII German military aluminum drinking cup (Trinkbecher M31) . This specific variant was issued to medical personnel for use with the larger Sanitäterfeldflasche (hospitallers flask) or Labeflasche (1-liter flask). The interior features a textbook, factory-stamped volume line with the explicit maataanduiding "1/4 L". This unique graduation scale allowed medics at the front lines to accurately measure and dose water, powder medications, or purification tablets under field conditions.The reverse side of the handle mount is deeply and cleanly stamped with the manufacturer code 19 and the pre-war crisis date 38, identifying production by the prestigious firm E.W. Bredt from Elberfeld in 1938. The aluminum body and the folding handle mechanism remain in superb, robust condition with normal light signs of field use. An excellent and genuinely rare niche piece for the specialized medical or field equipment display.
