Klasse in Silber). This variant features a distinct eight-pointed sunburst star with a beautifully detailed central floral motif. Mounted on its original, long textured needle. The piece remains in excellent, lightly worn condition with an attractive silver patina and crisp details. A scarce miniature to complete a combat or lapel display grouping.Historical Context: Instituted on July 14, 1942, this award was originally created for eastern volunteers (such as Cossacks and Ukrainians) serving alongside the German Wehrmacht.
