SA-Sportwettkämpfe Nordsee 1938 Tinnie

A crisp, lightweight plastic (kunststof) commemorative event badge, commonly known as a 'Tinnie' (Tagungsabzeichen). This specimen was issued for the SA-Sportwettkämpfe (SA Sports Competitions) held in the Nordsee district in 1938. The front displays a sharp, high-relief design featuring the classic, stylized SA organization logo inside a roundel, alongside a traditional Viking longship which serves as the regional emblem for Gruppe Nordsee.The reverse is clearly maker-marked by the prestigious manufacturer R. Sieper & Söhne from Lüdenscheid. It features its original, fully functional horizontal mounting needle embedded directly into the plastic reverse. A very nice, textbook regional SA political day badge from a highly desirable manufacturer.
