WWII German M40 HBT (Drillich) Infantry Unteroffizier Field Blouse - 1941 Dated & B41 Depot Stamped
An original WWII German Wehrmacht M40 HBT (Drillich) summer field blouse in reed-green. This early-pattern tunic features the correct early-war specifications, including four pleated pockets with scalloped flaps and a six-button front closure. The insignia are all period field-applied and consist of a machine-woven national eagle, collar Litzen, and an Obergefreiter sleeve chevron. Interestingly, when the soldier was promoted to Unteroffizier, the silver collar tresse was added while the original chevron was left in place on the sleeve—a great non-regulation combat detail. The tunic features its rare, matching HBT-material shoulder straps with white piping for the Infantry.
The interior shows the standard reinforcement panels and original steel S-rings for all buttons. The pocket lining retains its original stampings, featuring a clear "B41" depot mark (Berlin-Spandau, 1941) alongside a partially visible RBNr manufacturer prefix code starting with 02/ (Berlin region) and ending in 0092. The tunic remains in excellent condition with no rips, tears, or moth holes. A very clean, untouched combat piece.
