Exceptional 27-Piece Elastolin WWII Whermacht Band
Category:
€ 249,00
his is a highly impressive, rare, and complete 27-piece set of hand-painted hard-plastic military band figurines manufactured by the renowned high-quality brand Elastolin (Hausser). The entire collection is in absolute mint, unplayed condition, showing no breaks, cracks, or paint loss whatsoever.
The marching musicians and instrumentalists are in the classic 7 cm standard scale, while the standout parade leaders—the drum major and the flag bearer (complete with his original flag)—measure an imposing 14 cm in height. The ensemble is exceptionally diverse and historically well-constituted, featuring a drum major, a conductor (Musikmeister), a flag bearer, two rare Schellenbaum (Jingling Johnny) carriers, a bass drum, cymbals, snare drummers, trumpeters, horn players, flutists, a clarinetist, trombones, and tubas.
Every single figurine is neatly marked on the underside with the original Elastolin maker's stamp. This specific historical series was produced by Hausser on the tropical island of Mauritius during the 1970s to legally bypass the strict toy and military-replica regulations in Germany at the time. This is a spectacular and rare opportunity to acquire a complete, flawless, and highly decorative parade display in one single purchase. Please see the detailed photographs to appreciate the stunning quality and layout of this top-tier set.
