Eastern Front Medal "55" (J.E. Hammer & Söhne)
Category:
€ 64,00
A very nice, high-quality Eastern Front Medal (Medaille Winterschlacht im Osten 1941/42). This is an unissued/mint condition example that retains nearly all of its original dark burnished finish on the zinc core and a crisp silver rim. The details on the eagle feathers, helmet, and grenade are exceptionally sharp.
The suspension ring is clearly stamped with the maker code 55, identifying production by the desirable firm J.E. Hammer & Söhne, Geringswalde. It comes complete with its original piece of clean ribbon. A top-tier specimen for any medal collection.
