Afrika-Karte – Tornisterschrift des Oberkommandos der Wehrmacht
Category:
€ 44,00
Original period-issued map of Africa (Afrika-Karte), published as part of the Tornisterschrift series by the Oberkommando der Wehrmacht (Abt. Inland). This specific issue is from the first year of publication, 1940/41 - Erster Jahrgang - Heft 21. The softcover booklet shows nice period use with some light age-toning, minor foxing, and handling wear to the outer edges. The inner pages and the fold-out map remain in good, intact condition. A nice example of military pocket-sized educational and geographical material meant to be carried in the soldier's backpack (Tornister).
