"Der Kampf im Westen" Raumbildalbum (1940)
Category:
An original 1940 edition of the famous stereoscopic photo book "Der Kampf im Westen" (The Campaign in the West), published by Raumbild-Verlag Otto Schönstein. This comprehensive historical volume covers the 1940 Western campaign and comes completely filled with its full complement of stereoscopic photographic prints, alongside the original folding stereoviewer glasses housed neatly in the integrated cover compartments. The instruction sheet (Gebrauchsanweisung) is also present. Inside, the text pages are clean and accented by seven large, vibrant full-color plates. Looking at the exterior condition, the light gray cloth hardcover shows some realistic honest age, including a noticeable water stain on the lower corner of the back cover, though the binding remains completely tight and solid. A highly tactile and complete example of wartime period media.
