Wehrmacht Feldpost Pocket Board Game Set (Schach & Mühle) - Unopened Pieces
An exceptionally crisp and complete wartime-era German pocket board game set (Feldpostspiel) designed for soldiers at the front, featuring Chess (Schach) on one side and Nine Men's Morris (Mühle) on the reverse. This highly unique example comes housed in its original, light cardboard mailing sleeve, complete with a factory-printed paper Feldpost shipping label on the cover that bears faint, honest period pencil writing. Remarkably, the kit remains entirely unused; the dual-sided cardboard playing board is structural and clean, and the matching game pieces remain completely sealed inside their original, unopened brown paper depot storage bag. A wonderful, untouched piece of Wehrmacht soldier's personal kit and pocket litter that survived the war in outstanding, time-capsule condition.
