"Die Polizei im Fronteinsatz" SS & Police Postcard

1942 "Die Polizei im Fronteinsatz" SS & Police Propaganda Postcard

An original, unissued Third Reich propaganda art postcard published for the "Tag der Deutschen Polizei 1942" (Day of the German Police). The striking color artwork on the front, titled "Die Polizei im Fronteinsatz" (The Police in Frontline Service), depicts a dual combat patrol navigating a winter landscape. It features a member of the Ordnungspolizei alongside a Sicherheitspolizei (SD) operator cradling a submachine gun, flanked by the official police eagle and white SS runes. The clean reverse features crisp Gothic typography identifying the scene as a patrol in the East ("Streife der Ordnungspolizei und der Sicherheitspolizei im Osten"). This highly sought-after, unposted SS-related postcard remains in excellent, near-mint condition with bright color contrast and sharp edges.
