Wehrmacht 1L Medical Canteen (cfm 43/44 Factory Mix)

€ 149,00
An original, mid-to-late war German Wehrmacht 1-liter medical / Sanitäter canteen (Labeflasche). This textbook piece features a highly interesting factory-mixed marking configuration, with the main aluminum bottle nicely stamped cfm 43 and the screw cap stamped cfm 44, indicating production by the firm Carl Feldhaus Aluminium- und Metallwerke, Lüdenscheid during the late 1943 to early 1944 transition. The canteen is equipped with its original large-sized aluminum cup, which retains a significant amount of its authentic black factory-applied paint finish. The dark brown leather harness is complete, fully functional, and remains remarkably supple. The wool-felt insulation cover shows honest signs of combat use, including a few small, surface-level moth holes and nicks, giving it a great frontline appearance. An unmanipulated, honest medical canteen that will look outstanding on a Sanitäter or Gebirgsjäger display.
