Framed Period Color Litho of Hitler’s Berghof (Haus Wachenfeld)
Category:
€ 124,00
This is an authentic 1930s Third Reich period souvenir piece featuring a vibrant color lithographic print of Adolf Hitler's mountain retreat, the Berghof (originally known as Haus Wachenfeld), located on the Obersalzberg. The artwork beautifully captures the iconic alpine residence embedded in the Bavarian mountainside, complete with the early NSDAP camp flag flying prominently in the foreground. Printed with fine detail on textured stock to simulate the appearance of a period painting, this type of framed image was produced as a popular memento for the numerous tourists and political pilgrims who visited Berchtesgaden during the pre-war years.
The piece is housed in its original, dark-stained wooden period frame, measuring approximately 26 x 20 cm, showing authentic age and handling marks. The reverse retains its original period backing paper with a distinct geometric pattern, completely untouched and indicative of early-to-mid 1930s framing styles. Presenting wonderful coloration with only light storage-related aging, this framed Berghof print serves as an excellent, untouched piece of Third Reich social history and Obersalzberg memorabilia.
