RAD 4-Year Long Service Award in Bronze

Unissued RAD 4-Year Long Service Award in Bronze (Dienstauszeichnung 4. Stufe)

This is a pristine, authentic World War II German Long Service Medal for the National Labor Service, officially known as the Reichsarbeitsdienst Dienstauszeichnung 4. Stufe in Bronze. Instituted in January 1938, this medal was designated to honor four years of loyal, continuous service within the RAD organization. The oval-shaped bronze award features a beautifully struck obverse depicting the raised RAD emblem: an upright spade head bearing a central swastika, flanked by two wheat ears, all enclosed within a decorative oakleaf wreath border.
This exceptional medal is in absolute mint unissued condition, retaining its complete, flawless bronze finish with crisp strike details and no signs of age wear or corrosion. It comes mounted to its original, vibrant cornflower-blue ribbed rayon ribbon. The reverse of the ribbon features the factory-original brass pinback attachment, cleanly sewn onto the textile using matching blue period thread. Sourced from a clean estate collection, this is a top-tier, textbook example of a Third Reich labor organization award that would make a stellar addition to any medal or phaleristics display
