Heer 'Schirrmeister' Transport Specialist Patch

WWII German Heer 'Schirrmeister' Transport Specialist Sleeve Patch - Feldgrau Variant

An original WWII German Army (Heer) specialist trade badge for a transport and equipment quartermaster sergeant (Tätigkeitsabzeichen für Schirrmeister). This mid-to-late war production variant features the distinctive Gothic letter 'S' heavily machine-embroidered in thick golden-yellow thread, executed on a standard field-grey (feldgrau) wool base. Sourced from the German tailor stockpile, the reverse clearly showcases the dense embroidery executed right through a stiff dark grey linen reinforcement backing layer. A textbook, untouched technical specialist patch in superb unissued condition.
