€ 69,00
A German WWII "Extraseitengewehr" was a private purchase dress or parade bayonet, distinct from standard-issue combat bayonets. These decorative bayonets, also known as "Ausgeh-Seitengewehr" or "walking out" bayonets, were not intended for combat.
Made by the company "W.K.C". WKC stands for Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Cie., a German manufacturer that produced edged weapons like swords, daggers, and bayonets for various German military and police units during World War II. These items were often decorative or ceremonial rather than combat weapons and would feature the WKC logo on the blade or hilt.
This item:
The hilt and bakelite grips shows wear, the scabbard is in a good condition, the blade has seen better days, but most of it's factory polishing is still present.
Over all this dress bayonet is in a fairly good condition.
