The German M31 mess kit ("Kochgeschirr 31") was a standard piece of equipment for the Wehrmacht, SS, Politcal organizations, Police and Luftwaffe ground forces.
This item:
A truly beautiful matching M31 Mess kit by "WWE" which stands for the manufacturer W. Wagner from Esslingen. Made from aluminum and retains practically all of it's original paint (sorry, I can't put a percentage on it). The lid is marked: "RBD Stgr. WWE 34", production date 1934. On the right side just below the handle bale "RBD Stg", on the left: "WWE 34".
