Mint Matching M31 Mess Kit 1934 - "RBD Stuttgart"

A rare example of an early matching German M31 Mess Kit (Kochgeschirr 31). This is a textbook, 100% original aluminum set manufactured in 1934 by the highly desirable firm W. Wagner from Esslingen (WWE). What makes this specific set an absolute centerpiece is the rare, factory-applied paramilitary/civil property stamping for the Reichsbahndirektion Stuttgart (RBD Stgr.). These early mess kits were officially issued to the armed railway protection units (Bahnschutz) safeguarding Germany's vital rail network.

• Lid Stamping: Clearly deep-stamped "RBD Stgr. WWE 34".
• Body Stamping: Perfectly matching, stamped "RBD Stg." on the right handle bracket, and "WWE 34" on the left bracket.

In true near-mint, untouched condition. This set retains virtually 95%+ of its original, early-war factory field-grey/olive paint. It is incredibly difficult to find early aluminum mess kits with this level of paint preservation, as most were completely stripped or worn down during field use. The interior is exceptionally clean, and the aluminum handle wire is fully functional and straight.

A spectacular item for the advanced collector specializing in early Reichsbahn, Bahnschutz, or mint-condition field equipment. 100% Guaranteed Original.
