6x30 Dienstglas Binoculars in Ordnance Tan DDX

€ 329,00
Original WWII German 6x30 Dienstglas Binoculars in Ordnance Tan - Unmarked 'ddx' (Voigtländer). A textbook, 100% authentic late-war pair of German Wehrmacht combat binoculars (Dienstglas 6x30). This highly desirable set features the factory-applied, late-war Ordnance Tan / Sand-colour painted finish (Einheitsfarbe) instead of the standard black texture. The left plate is clearly stamped with the serial number 313366, the military designation Dienstglas 6x30, and the three-letter manufacturer code ddx, which signifies production by the prestigious firm Voigtländer & Söhne A-G from Braunschweig. Cold-Weather Marking: The stamping includes a small blue triangle symbol (△) to the right of the manufacturer code. This historically indicates that the optics were treated with specialized Invarol lubricant, ensuring functionality in freezing combat climates down to -40°C (introduced from 1943 onward).
The binoculars come equipped with their original, supple leather neck strap and the increasingly scarce leather tunic button attachment flap (Knopflasche). Optics: The view is very clear, allowing the piece to be displayed or actively used. The adjustment rings turn smoothly. An honest, completely untouched and combat-worn piece of late-war field gear that is becoming increasingly hard to find in this desirable tan camouflage configuration. 100% Guaranteed Original. Manufacturer Code: ddx (Voigtländer & Söhne, Braunschweig), Serial Number: 313366. Finish: Factory Ordnance Tan (Einheitsfarbe). Includes original neck strap and button flap
