Deutsche Arbeits Front enamel sign

An exceptionally rare, 100% authentic Third Reich porcelain enamel sign (Dienststellenschild) for a "Verkehrslokal der Geschäftsreisenden u. Vertreter in der D.A.F." (German Labour Front). These signs were mounted outside officially designated inns, taverns, or hotels that served as meeting points and quarters for travelling businessmen and representatives registered within the D.A.F.. This is an absolute original, completely free from the modern reproductions flooding the market.

This sign is incredibly heavy, weighing approx. 3.2 KG of thick, industrial-grade vaulted steel sheet, built to withstand decades of outdoor elements. The multi-layered enamel layout—featuring the iconic D.A.F. cogwheel and swastika—is beautifully raised and heavily embossed. You can clearly feel and see the structural layers and rounded edges of the porcelain glass texturing. The back features the flawless, period-correct grey/black speckled protective base coat (Sprenkelemail) showing natural, organic aging and deep iron oxidization along the edges. Honest Period Wear: The sign displays beautiful, genuine battle damage and natural weathering. Honest enamel chipping is present around the mounting holes and edges, revealing the original yellowish factory primer underneath the bright red and white gloss. A premier, highly sought-after centerpiece for any advanced Third Reich or enamel advertising collection. 100% Guaranteed Original. Weight: Approx. 3.2 KG. Colors: Vibrant Red, Deep Black, and Cream White
