€ 1.695,00
The Oberkommando des Heeres (OKH) was the High Command of the German Army (Lord) between 1935 and 1945. It was one of the three branches of the German military apparatus, alongside the Navy (OKM) and the Air Force (OKL). The OKH was involved in the strategic planning and operational management of the army.
Hierarchy: In theory, the OKH was part of the Oberkommando der Wehrmacht (OKW), which supervised the entire armed forces. In practice, however, there was often a strong rivalry between the two institutions. After the defeat at Moscow in December 1941, Hitler himself took command of the OKH. From that moment on, the OKH was primarily responsible for the Eastern Front, while the OKW was put in charge of the other theatres of war, such as Western Europe and North Africa. Commanders (Oberbefehlshaber des Heeres) During its existence, the OKH was led by several figures: Werner von Fritsch (1934–1938), Walther von Brauchitsch (1938–1941), Adolf Hitler (1941–1945), Ferdinand Schörner (April–May 1945). The headquarters of the OKH was located in the bunker complex for most of the war Maybach I in Wünsdorf, near Berlin.

This flag is offered for sale very rarely. I don't know how many were produced, but there probably weren't that many. It is the first model that was in use from 1938 to 1941, until Adolf Hitler took command. I have no idea how many still exist. I recently found this one in the United States because it was brought home by a veteran. It is made of wool and has the usual moth damage, but it isn't really bothersome; one corner is slightly torn, which you see quite often because they were frequently literally ripped off. The flag measures 83 x 72 CM The flag measures A very rare flag that truly never appears on the market.
