A Nazi Party Banner (or flag) is the iconic symbol of the Nationalist Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP). The banner was designed by Adolf Hitler in 1920 and later became the official national flag of Nazi Germany from 1935 to 1945. Hitler described its design and meaning extensively in his book Mein Kampf: A bright red field, which Hitler believed represented the social thought of the Nazi movement. A white circle in the middle that symbolized the nationalist thought. A black swastika in the middle of the white disc. Hitler saw this as the symbol of the "Aryan struggle" and the victory of "creative labor" (which he explicitly defined as anti-Semitic). The combination of red, white and black was a deliberate reference to the flag of the old German Empire, with which the Nazis distanced themselves from the democratic Weimar Republic.

A beautiful party banner in mint condition, apart from a few small stains. In my opinion, it is made of Viscose (Rayon), which is uncommon for this type of flag. It is single-sided; the disc is sewn onto the deep red fabric, which is brightly colored. The swastika is printed on the disc. A very colorful flag. The size is 160 x 65 cm.
