*An original pre-war German 1937 National Labor Day commemorative tinnie (Veranstaltungsabzeichen - Tag der Arbeit 1937). Designed by Richard Klein, the striking artwork features a child holding an oak branch, standing atop a prominent national eagle clutching a wreathed swastika. The reverse is cleanly contract-marked by the elite and highly collected master manufacturer Deschler & Sohn from München. While 1937 issues are notoriously prone to severe corrosion and degradation due to poor period zinc alloy compositions, this specific survivor has been beautifully preserved, offering an excellent reference piece for advanced insignia collectors. *

The tinnie is in nice, stable, and highly choice condition, standing out significantly from the heavily corroded examples usually found on the market. Struck from a base zinc-alloy metal, it has avoided typical zinc pest and instead developed a gorgeous, deep, and uniform dark blackish age patina across the entire surface. The high-relief details on both the child and the eagle remain completely crisp and clear. The reverse is fully intact, neatly displaying the raised manufacturer's hallmark: "Deschler & Sohn München". The original, factory-mounted horizontal attachment pin and catch remain present, sturdy, and fully functional
