An exceptionally scarce, textbook Third Reich period aluminum medical canteen cup (Trinkbecher), specifically designed for field hospital and medic use (Sanitäter). Unlike standard Wehrmacht issue canteen cups, this specialized variant incorporates a factory-formed pour spout on the front rim, engineered to allow medics to accurately administer water or liquid medicine to wounded personnel in the field. Due to its official RZM production authorization, this cup was directly allocated to NSDAP paramilitary organizations, including the Hitlerjugend (HJ-Sanitätsdienst) or early Waffen-SS/SS-VT medical units. Construction & Condition: The cup is entirely constructed out of early-war, high-grade aluminum and remains in a magnificent, highly desirable, lightly used condition. It displays honest, minimal period service wear from field deployment, with very light handling marks that preserve its authentic character. The aluminum remains structurally rock-solid, completely free of heavy dents, pitting, or damage. Design & Alignment Bars: While this specific variant does not feature stamped volumetric numbers, the body correctly exhibits two factory-embossed internal alignment bars (measurement marks) mirrored on the exterior, allowing for precise vloeistof measurement in high-stress field scenarios. The Rare RZM Factory Stamps: The cup features exceptionally crisp, textbook factory markings. It is prominently stamped with the round RZM logo, directly underneath the code M6/17/39. This indicates official procurement under the Aluminiumwaren contract by the rare manufacturer Gebrüder Bing AG, Neumarkt, with the final "39" confirming prime pre-war production in 1939. The Handles: The reverse retains its original, fully functional, twin folding wire handles.
