Early WW2 German Marching Boots (Knobelbecher)An untouched and uncleaned pair of early model German marching boots (Knobelbecher). The boots have a desirable height of 46 cm and are in a good, honest, combat-used condition. The leather remains sturdy. The sole construction is highly interesting: the base sole features 2 rows of 3 wooden pegs. The front sole is equipped with the characteristic steel crescent moon toe plate secured by 4 countersunk nails, alongside 29 steel hobnails. Both the front and rear soles are tightly secured with a double row of wooden pegs. The heels are completed with original steel heel irons. One pull-tab on one of the boots is broken due to wartime wear, adding to its authentic character. A great, untouched pair for any combat display.
