Complete 1939 Siemens Tischfernsprecher 38 (Tf. 38) Wehrmacht Bunker / Headquarters Station Telephone – Matching Siemens Handset, WaA Stamped Auxiliary Box & Rare Red Waffenamt Ink Markings. A German Wehrmacht Tischfernsprecher 38 (Tf. 38) station telephone set, custom manufactured by the prestigious firm Siemens & Halske (S&H) in 1939 (Serial No. 4464). Strictly NOT a standard FF33 field phone, this heavy station model was designed specifically for permanent command headquarters, airfields, or coastal fortification bunkers during the Blitzkrieg era. It boasts incredible completeness and rare markings that are hard to find on the open market today. The Main Unit: Built from deep dark brown/black marbled bakelite, completely free of cracks or damage. It retains its original metal generator hand-crank, and the original phonetic spelling chart (Buchstabiertafel) remains crisply riveted to the top housing. The Handset: 100% original and strictly matching, deeply stamped in the bakelite with the official Siemens company trademark logo. The heavy cord remains fully intact. The Zusatzkästchen (Accessory Box): This rare auxiliary junction box / extra ringer features a clear military WaA (Waffenamt) inspection stamp. Only a tiny, negligible chip on one screw-head is present—otherwise structurally perfect.Dual Diagrams & Red Waffenamt Stamp: Uniquely, the original paper wiring diagram is completely intact and perfectly preserved on the bottom of the housing . Most importantly, the interior features a stunning, crisp Red WaA ink stamp, a hallmark of premium early-war quality assurance.Mechanically sound with a smooth-turning crank mechanism. An absolute centerpiece for high-end Wehrmacht communications and bunker equipment collectors. We currently have three additional examples of this rare Tischfernsprecher 38 available in our inventory! Each phone features its own unique historical characteristics and manufacturer markings. Please browse the communications section elsewhere on our website to view and compare these additional museum-grade pieces.
