German FF33 Field Telephone (Feldfernsprecher 33) – Matching 1943 "Eisen" ModificationAn exceptionally complete and beautifully preserved German FF33 combat field telephone (Feldfernsprecher 33) manufactured during the height of the war in 1943 . This textbook set features the desirable "E" (Eisen) modification stamped into the internal steel hardware . Introduced as a vital war economy measure to conserve lightweight alloys for aircraft production, this factory marking denotes the transition to a specialized steel construction .The telephone is completely untouched and features its original turning crank (Kurbel), the interior battery compartment box, and the matching handset with a cord and a plug that is also clearly dated 1943. Notably, all original instructional plates remain entirely intact and legible on the dark bakelite casing, including the phonetic alphabet guide and the highly desirable green stripe indicator for testing the inductor. The casing features a clean circular manufacturer stamp by the famous maker Frika (S. Friebel, Berlin). The overall condition is excellent, showing no cracks or chips. A top-tier, matching, and unmanipulated piece of Wehrmacht signal equipment.
