British RAF Mk VIII Flying Goggles – A.M Marked

An absolute textbook, honest pair of the iconic RAF Mk VIII Flying Goggles. Introduced into service in 1943, this pattern became the standard issue for Royal Air Force aircrews, Fleet Air Arm, and Commonwealth pilots throughout the later stages of the war. This specific pair is in a beautiful, untouched, and combat-worn condition. The characteristic grey-blue painted metal frames retain the majority of their finish, housing the correct split-angle glass lenses. The thick brown leather face cushion and chamois backing show light, honest service wear but remain completely supple and intact. Crucially, the leather nose bridge is clearly embossed with the authentic "A.M." (Air Ministry) crown stamp, certifying its correct wartime deployment. Complete with its original elastic fabric head strap and leather adjustment pull tabs. A genuine piece of British aviation history that displays perfectly on an RAF or RCAF pilot display
