German WWII Lightly Used Heavy Leather Frog for Extra-Seitengewehr KS98
An original German WWII heavy leather belt frog (Seitengewehrtragetasche) designed for the privately purchased dress or walking-out bayonet (Extra-Seitengewehr K98/KS98). Unlike the common, fragile patent leather parade variants prone to heavy age-cracking (craquelé), this item is a sturdy, service-grade leather field construction (stabile Feldausführung). The high-quality dark brown-to-black leather is in beautiful, supple condition, showing only light signs of period use and a fantastic genuine patina. The heavy-duty factory stitching remains completely tight, original, and intact along all seams, including the rivets. The belt loop and bayonet stud aperture are fully intact without tearing. A very solid, scarcer heavy leather variant to complete an upgraded service-style KS98 dress setup.
