An exceptional, original German WWII sleeve insignia (Ärmelabzeichen) as worn by light infantry personnel (Jägertruppe), introduced in October 1942. The vertically oval badge features a crisp, machine-embroidered design depicting three mid-green oak leaves with a single light brown acorn stem, all beautifully enveloped by a prominent silver-gray simulated twisted rope border.

Recovered directly from a recently discovered wartime German tailor’s archive (Schneidernachlass), the patch is in absolute pristine, mint warehouse condition. The dark green woolen badge cloth base is completely fresh with flawless edges, tight reverse-side assembly threads, and is 100% free from moth holes or storage wear. A textbook, textbook example of Wehrmacht light infantry insignia that is incredibly difficult to upgrade.
