HJ West Düsseldorf District Sleeve Triangle

An original Hitler Youth (HJ) regional sleeve triangle (Gebietsdreieck) representing district West Düsseldorf. This piece features the distinctive machine-woven Gothic lettering and outer border in golden-yellow threads over a black rayon base. The reverse side shows clear evidence of period uniform application, with the factory edges neatly folded back and remaining thread fragments from being carefully removed from a jacket. This insignia originates from a recently discovered tailor's stockpile (Schneider-Archief) containing a large variety of both loose and uniform-removed insignia from various branches. A highly collectible regional piece with a great historical background.
