DJ Deutsches Jungvolk Sleeve Insignia (Oberbann 1 / Standard Issue)

€ 44,00
An original World War II era sleeve patch for a member of the Deutsches Jungvolk (DJ). This machine-woven insignia features the iconic silver-white Sig-rune centered within a vibrant red circular disc. Originally designated for Oberbann 1 in the early 1930s, this red-and-white color combination became the standardized sleeve emblem for all general Jungvolk members nationwide after the reorganization of the Hitler Youth district structures. Since DJ boys did not wear the standard swastika armbands, this sleeve badge served as their primary organizational insignia on the upper left arm. The reverse side displays superb period construction, with the circular patch neatly folded over and mounted onto a coarse tan canvas backing, showing clear thread fragments from uniform removal. This piece originates straight from a recently discovered German tailor's archive (Schneider-Archief). A classic, textbook uniform-removed piece in fantastic condition.
