HJ Field Sports Warden Cuff Title
Category:
€ 114,00
This original Hitler Youth sports-related insignia is a beautifully preserved cuff title for an H.J.-Geländesportwart (Field Sports Warden). Constructed from black rayon, it features the distinctive, detailed gothic lettering embroidered in striking golden-yellow thread, framed by matching top and bottom border stripes. Measuring 15 cm in length, this specific shorter variant was designed to be applied directly flat onto the sleeve or Braunhemd rather than wrapping completely around the cuff.
This piece is part of an exciting, recently discovered German tailor’s stock (Kleingewerbe/Schneiderbestand) that contains a variety of period insignia and tailoring threads. While some pieces from this hoard show signs of contemporary wear or period repairs, others remained entirely unused. This particular cuff title is in excellent, clean condition with crisp weave details and vibrant coloration, making it a fantastic addition to any advanced Hitler Youth or specialized cloth insignia collection.
