Unissued HJ Proficiency Badge in Black

Unissued HJ Proficiency Badge in Black - BeVo Cloth Sport Shirt Version

This is an exceptional, unissued World War II German Hitler Youth Proficiency Badge in Black (Hitlerjugend Leistungsabzeichen in Schwarz), executed in the highly collectible flat-woven BeVo style. The insignia prominently displays the large upward-pointing Tiwaz rune overlaid with a mobile swastika, enclosed by a circular band bearing the prominent period motto "Für Leistungen in der H.J." (For Proficiency in the H.J.). Measuring approximately 9.5 x 7 cm, this specific cloth variant was manufactured on a very fine, lightweight white rayon/cotton backing, specifically designated for direct application onto the front of the official white HJ athletic sport shirt (Sporthemd). This pristine patch is a fantastic piece sourced from a recently discovered German tailor's stock (Kleingewerbe/Schneiderbestand), which features a diverse variety of unissued period insignia and uniform threads. The reverse of the patch is completely unaltered, showcasing the intricate texturing of the black and white machine weave. It retains its original, fully intact paper RZM control label (marked "A" with the serial number and the manufacturer code M4/134, denoting a licensed maker of cloth insignias). Remaining in flawless mint unissued condition with crisp edges and vibrant contrast, this is a top-tier example of Third Reich youth sports memorabilia.
