This is a beautiful, pristine example of an unissued World War II German Hitler Youth (HJ) insignia diamond, specifically manufactured for the sidecap (Schiffchen) or winter cap (Wintermütze). Measuring 3 cm in height, this compact variant is executed in the highly collectible, flat-woven BeVo style. It features the sharp, iconic red and white institutional quadrants with the central black swastika sharply woven onto a clean, off-white rayon base.

This piece originates directly from our recently discovered German tailor's stock (Kleingewerbe/Schneiderbestand), which comprises a diverse selection of period-authentic insignia, uniform components, and tailoring accessories—some showing contemporary handling, while others remained entirely untouched. The patch is in outstanding mint unissued condition, still resting on its original untrimmed rectangular factory cloth strip. The reverse side beautifully displays the intricate spool-thread trailing and complex textile structure characteristic of authentic wartime manufacturing.
