An original, textbook WWII German Army (Heer) sleeve rank chevron (Armwinkel) for the rank of Gefreiter (Private First Class). This insignia features a single V-shaped band of bright silver-grey NCO tress, executing the correct Heer diamond-weave pattern, factory-mounted onto a dark-green (Flaschengrün) M36-style woolen backing.
These chevrons are in flawless, unissued mint condition with raw, sharp edges.

They originate directly from a recently discovered German tailor's archive (Schneider-Bestand). Incredibly, these pieces were found still tied together in a factory bundle by the original wartime sewing thread.
