An original, matching pair of textbook WWII German Ordnungspolizei (Schutzpolizei) sleeve rank chevrons. This pair features a highly distinct police-spec pattern tress, consisting of silver-grey tress executed in the classic dotted/stipple weave structure. Woven directly into the tress are the regulation green center dividing line and matching green outer borders, representing the official green Waffenfarbe (branch color) for the Schutzpolizei. The dual-chevron band is factory-mounted onto a crisp, jet-black woolen triangular backing, tailored for wear on the police service tunic. Both pieces are in absolute mint, unissued condition with factory-sharp edges, sourced straight from the recently discovered German tailor's archive (Schneider-Bestand).
